Here Is a video that shows the place where I will be working in South Africa. After wathcing this video last April, I knew I had to get involved. I never dreamed at the time that I would get the chance to go there myself.

Trunk N Treat on October 19

Bring your cars around 4 - 4:45, your kids can help you decorate and setup. We will begin the trick or treating in the parking lot around 5pm. The Youth will be playing games with the kids in Fellowship Hall. Free Hot Dog dinner for EVERYONE.

Next weekend at Heartland Camp! I can't wait for those s'mores!!!
I hear that 40 kids will be attending, that is alot and should make it alot of fun.
I'll post a list of things to bring soon.

Heartland Camp rescheduled for March 30

Due to ice the representative from Heartland Center Camp that would have visited Knox on February 17, has re-scheduled for March 30. Chris will talk to the kids during Children's Worship and be available for parents between services in the Atrium. If you have any questions or concerns about sending your child to camp, Chris is the one to talk to. For information about their camp visit: http://www.heartlandcenter.org/1pgs/camp1.html. The Early Bird rate deadline that is posted as March 15 will be extended for Knox until March 30, However there is no quarantee that spots will be available for the session you choose as some seesions fill up quickly. Special Note: Knox pays for 1/2 the tuition of your child or grandchild and a friend.

Friends 202 Clubhouse - in progress

As you can see below, the wall between Room 202 & 204 has been removed. This will allow for a stage to be built in Room 202 and allow for more room for viewing and participating in Children's Worship.

• Another benefit is that we can now have a better "flow" for dropping off and picking up. Until now we have been congested in the hallway. Now, we will use Room 204 door for entering - parents will need to bring their kids into the room, get a wristband and receive your matching stub. Then the Room 202 door will be for exiting. As you come in to pick up your child, and exit through the opposite door you will need to show your stub before exiting with your child.

Children's Ministry team is always open to your ideas, opinion, and thoughts. This is a work in progress so plese be patient as we try new things to make the environment safe and fun for learning and drawing closer in relationship with one another as well as with Christ.
